Barriner Bay

I had an incredible stay at this waterfront Airbnb near the Akosombo Dam! The serene location offered breathtaking views of the Volta River, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind. A highlight of our visit was the boat tour organized by the owner, which took us to various landmarks along the river and added a unique touch to our experience. The property was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed to blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings. The host was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Akosombo!

Dexxy's Palace hotel

It's a lovely place in a quiet area. The rooms are well equipped and well designed too. It's comfortable. Ernest and Fausti were very helpful. Ernest was flexible to accommodate us even though we arrived later than the check-in time and he kept checking up on us along the way. There is a restaurant nearby where you can order food at an affordable price too. Koforidua is a beautiful place. Thank you Ernest, Fausti and everyone in Dexxy's Palace Hotel.

Dinpa Villa: An Estate with a touch of nature.

AmaRating, 5 stars28 months ago
No words can accurately describe the fantastic time we had at Josiah’s house. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. He and his family went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The villa is surrounded by a big garden where you can relax away from the busy Koforidua. Yet, the city is accessible (15min by taxi). Josiah offered to drop us at the junction with the main road several times (5 min by car). The neighbourhood is nice, we walked back by ourselves a few times and felt safe (15 min by foot). He also helped us figure out how to get to Boti Falls and Obuo Tabiri mountain. Next time we're in Koforidua, we will stay here again without hesitation.
A hallway features a dark carpet runner that complements the light-colored walls. Decorative round wall hangings are arranged near the ceiling, adding visual interest. A white door is positioned at the end of the corridor, with a window providing natural light from the side.

Quiet with modern comforts

I loved the place and chose to spend a day more. Jemimah was a great support, and Michelle was nice. Just a gist, go to the living room/ hall if you are find the internet connectivity problematic.
