　Kirishima tap water tastes better than mineral water (published in the Nankyoku Shimbun, September 2024) Abundant spring water and groundwater are the tap water of Kirishima City　　 There are several quiet and interesting shrines within 20 km This is a renovated house, and it is limited to one group per day (maximum 8 people). The living and dining rooms are open plan with no partitions.It is a relaxing space with a carpet mat and a sofa that can seat 8 or more people. There are three bedrooms separated by a flight of steps from the living room. The walls are stucco except some so you can feel comfortable without moisture. The room is partitioned with old-fashioned sliding doors and glass sliding doors, and the bedding is Japanese futons, not beds. All windows are double glazed, eliminating drafts and noise! All rooms have air conditioning by the windows, providing a comfortable indoor space. ※ The Wi-Fi environment is not perfect in some areas * You can cook for yourself, but the cookware is reusable (tabletop stoves are prohibited to prevent fires) * All rooms are non-smoking * No meal provided * Not wheelchair friendly * Paid from 0-year-old child * The surrounding area is residential, so you can't expect the location, but you can run around in the garden on the premises.

It was a 5-minute walk from the station, so access was very good, and the ferry terminal was also close, so it was a convenient location for sightseeing and getting around.Although the exterior was a little aged, the interior was well renovated, and it was very beautiful and comfortable as shown in the photos. It was self check-in, but I received a polite email in advance, and I was able to check in smoothly.I was able to relax and enjoy the food I bought at a nearby supermarket using the clean dishes provided. I'd love to stay again if I get the chance.

We had a fantastic stay here, the house is really cosy and comfortable, and the view is absolutely fantastic! I couldn't believe how beautiful it was, both at night and in the morning. We had breakfast on the wooden terrace, while admiring Sakurajima, and it was amazing. The hosts are incredibly friendly and kind, and made sure to welcome us and explain everything when we arrived, and then say goodbye when we checked out. They even gifted us some beautiful handmade coasters! We were thrilled with our stay, and hope we can stay here again in the future. Thank you again so much for everything!

I heard that the renovated old house, the furniture, and the accessories were all carefully selected by the owner, and I was impressed that they were all very tasteful and easy to use! It was a very cozy space where you could feel the attention to guests everywhere. My parents' home is in Kagoshima, and I'm really grateful that you put together a trip that allowed me to rediscover the wonders of my hometown! A friend from outside the prefecture also became a big fan of Kawabe and Hotel Namaskar (laughs)

Shoji's place is exceptional. It's a beautiful, roomy house and it had all the amenities we needed. Shoji was very helpful, picking us up from the train station, giving us a detailed tour of the house, and coming over on short notice to fix an issue we were having with one of the appliances.
