Family-friendly vacation rentals in Ahr

Everything worked out great. The landlord was very friendly and helpful. He explained everything to us well. The house is fantastic and has everything you want. The area is great too, there's a lot to do. We communicated through the Airbnb app and it was always quick to respond. Highly recommended! We will be happy to come back! Thank you for a great holiday!

Nice big house in beautiful area

The communication with the Dahlke family was super nice and at check-in we got a tour of the pretty cottage with a good explanation of all technical equipment etc. The fresh rolls one morning were a very nice surprise. We liked to use the hot tub and sauna a lot. And the fireplace also makes it super nice and cozy. There would still be a little bit of room for cleanliness. But that's high standard whining. Overall, we enjoyed it very much and would love to come back. However, it should be noted that some things are outdated and some things certainly need to be renewed in the long run if the price-performance ratio is to fit further. But it's still a good fit at the moment.

Great stay with the family. Anita was available to send us information before check-in and also during the stay if we needed it. The dishwasher had a problem and a technician came to replace it the next day. We'll be back!

We came to Malmedy for the second time for the Les Brûleurs de Gommes event, we won't hesitate to come back a third time to this very warm and very family-friendly Airbnb!

My wife and I had a wonderful relaxing weekend. There are great opportunities for activities in the area. We will be happy to come back.

5 star – Absolutely recommended! Our stay at René's place was perfect all around! The house is beautiful, modernly decorated and offers a fantastic view. We were particularly impressed by the large, bright kitchen with the long dining table – ideal for evenings together. René was a great host: friendly, attentive and very helpful. A special highlight was the cake we received on the second day – a really nice gesture for which we would like to thank you very much! We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back!

Dear Anja, We felt very comfortable in the accommodation, small but nice. Since we didn't arrive in the dark until the evening, we had a small problem finding the house number. Otherwise, the key was in the given place. We will be happy to come back.

We had a great time in Aachen! The place is spacious, impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. Everything is planned for optimal comfort, which made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location is ideal: close to the city center, with easy access to the main attractions of Aachen, while being in a quiet environment that guarantees restful nights. Sophia was very welcoming and responsive, always available to answer our questions and make sure our stay went smoothly. We highly recommend this accommodation and will be happy to come back on a future visit to Aachen! 😊

We were super happy with the place. Karin is totally friendly and gave us great tips for restaurants in the area. When parking, you have to be a bit lucky to get a spot on the street, but 2 minutes away there is also a public parking lot with completely reasonable prices (€6 day ticket). We have never experienced the love of hospitality that awaited us in the room. Karin already has basic equipment for breakfast in the fridge, a small wine, there were always small sweets and even a fruit plate was ready. Simply super!! This app is still worthwhile for such experiences, a real gem ☺️

We were all very comfortable in Leiwen! The place is great and is rounded off by a beautiful garden with the possibility to barbecue. We were lucky enough to do a wine hike with Christoph and were thrilled ! We can only recommend the place and would be happy to come back!

Check-in and checkout were straightforward, a lot of energy was put into the decor of the accommodation, and you can tell. 👍

Very quick and friendly response. She also pointed this out very nicely to a small flaw. Apartment is as described. We had our Christmas party there and were able to wake up for a very long time and love to celebrate.

We had a great weekend with 12 adults + kids and dog. Both the many cozy rooms with great beds, sparkling clean bathrooms, but above all the common area with perfectly equipped kitchens, sitting areas and the huge table were ideal for us. It was perfect for both adults and children and from booking to departure everything was always impeccable and the landlords/ladies always immediately accessible. Absolutely recommended! The Geierlay Bridge is within walking distance and ideal for a short walk/ or a hike. We are already planning to come back :D

From our point of view, 5 stars. Umut was very friendly all the time and answered questions very quickly. The apartment was clean, generously sized, and fully equipped. The situation is quiet and very pleasant. Larger cities can be reached quickly. If we are around again we would book the apartment again. I am thrilled. Arrival was great and I was immediately warmly welcomed. Both are super sweet and the location really nice. I had a lot of time to write in peace and could always contact Thomas and his wife. There was even a folder where all the important information and shops were listed nearby - with about the duration of the footpath. Just great! Always happy to come back.

If someone loves and needs peace and nature, they will find it here at the Heidberghof… with a view of grazing horses… i have never been able to observe a lively and beautiful little stallion… on 2 consecutive days… repeatedly dropping his horse droppings in the same place on the paddock… after he had previously sniffed it… until a large pile was formed there… So the Heidberghof gives you pure nature…

Perfect house for our Christmas retreat. Although we didn’t get full snow, the area is very beautiful and quiet. The interior is just like the photos and really added to that cozy, warm vibe. The kitchen was better equipped than I’d expected; full size fridge with a freezer compartment, well stocked cutlery and accessories. It was a bit of a squeeze to get 8 of us for Christmas dinner around the dining table but thankfully it did extend to allow us to all sit when we added some extra chairs. Having a pool and sauna was a big plus. Gabi was really helpful to get us in and assist with working the stove on the first day. Perfect cozy retreat!

We spent New Year's Eve in the Stranzenburg in a small group. Really a beautiful unique house with charm! Ursula was a great host who even greeted us with a cake. If you have any questions, we were always able to reach out and received a quick response. We were all very comfortable.

The place was perfect and the hostess very friendly. The entire region completes the accommodation and we had a very good time. I'm happy to book this place again!
