After traveling the globe and staying in various hotels and guesthouses my wife and I have attempted to present a Holiday Villa that will cover just about all of our guests wants & needs. Holiday Villa Boston (HVB) is located in the heart of Niigata City. HVB is a 2 to 10 minute walk from historical sites, great restaurants and entertaining bars. I couldn't bring myself to change the exterior's design, front gate or the front door. However, the interior is tailor made for guest to rest & relax.

Akari Apartments are comfortable and spacious. In a great area of the Village just 200m to the slopes and an easy flat stroll into the centre of the village. The closest public onsen is just 50 meters down the road and free to use for our guests. The 4 bedroom apartment is perfect for 2 or 3 families with kids or group of friends (comfortable up to 10 person). You live above the famous Swiss bakery for your daily bread, pastry and Pizza supply. Other Japanese Restaurants are close by too.

Thank you so much ! The owner is very nice and kind ! They asked us for anything that we needed and provided it well. We had a very pleasant stay ! I really love the kitchen ! It has a very complete equipment to accommodate large groups of people cooks. There is a lot of entertainment and the bedrooms are super cozy ! The hot springs also very good ! 初めてのエアビーだったのでホテルとの違いが気になってましたが、部屋全体がきれいで快適に過ごせました。リビングの天井が高く解放感が最高！大通りから少し入った小道に物件があったため、周囲はとても静かで自然の音が心地よく聞こえました。またタイミングよく、リビングから庭の桜を見ることができました。冬の寒い時期はリビングの暖炉も楽しめそう！近くには美味しいベーグル屋さんなど飲食店がいくつかあり、散策も楽しめました。寝室が4つあったので、仲のいい4世帯で集まって週末滞在するのもいいなと思います！1階と2階にトイレがあったのは嬉しい。那須旅行の際にはまたお邪魔したいです！

We stayed 3 nights and the place was epic, new, super clean, warm and comfortable. Chisato and Billy were hot on chat and gave recommendations and offered to make booking at every turn. We arrived midnight the fist night and Billy had been out in the snow at 10pm clearing the drive to make sure our arrival was easy and seamless. Highly recommend their properties, look forward to returning.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at this house! The location is simply amazing – calm, relaxing, and surrounded by breathtaking nature that made every moment feel peaceful and serene. It was the perfect getaway for my husband and me to enjoy the holidays in tranquility. The host was wonderful – always supportive and quick to help when we needed assistance, yet perfectly unobtrusive when we didn’t. It truly felt like we had the space to fully unwind. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. We hope to return someday!

Beautiful stay. Yusan and his partner are excellent hosts. Room was comfy. Had the shared onsen to myself every afternoon. 10 minute walk to Kanko gondola. 20 mins walk to Akakura restaurants. It’s a tight walk between walls of snow and road. Can be dodgy. Yusan was very helpful with lifts in the van. To the lifts in the morning and dinner in the evenings. Felt very looked after 😊
