Laurene‘s place is a great stay when visiting Cape Town - the apartment was very nice, comfy, clean, safe and in a great location with short walking distances to restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. We did not use the hot tub due to the temperatures outside but for colder days its definitively a plus. Laurene was a very nice and helpful host - we had some power issues that were not in our or her hands but she tried her very best to help us out and solve the issue. We can only recommend the place!

Really great place to escape for a few days. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub and our host was happy to deliver more firewood when we were running low. Very clean and comfortable. Looked exactly like the pictures - possibly even better. The only thing I would do differently in future is stay longer! Can’t wait to visit again!

Honestly, this is really a piece of heaven when you need to get some time to reflect, relax, and switch off. It's close enough to restaurants and shopping centres for convenience, but it feels like you're completely away from civilisation when you're at the farm. Ryan is a wonderful host and person and was so accommodating. The Karoo Lodge is beautiful and it has to be experienced to fully appreciate its beauty and energy. If you love fires burning and listening to music on vinyl, this is the perfect setting for you! So impressed by Big Inja's facilities and beauty. Honestly, this was everything I needed and more! This is an AirBnB with a little something extra! Every detail is thought out and it really is a perfect place to unwind and spend some time away from the city. We kayaked, walked around the nature reserve, fished (badly), drank amazing coffee on their jetty and wandered around Muizenberg. There's even a hot tub :) The hosts, David and Maya, are super helpful with tons of recommendations, flexible and quick to respond. Also check out Truth Coffee Roasting, David's place, for a really unique experience. Thank you!

This rating should have been seven or eight stars. This is a charming little cottage, beautifully presented, with all the amenities needed, including toys and books for children! Lisa went above and beyond what could be expected to give us a wonderful place and enable us to really enjoy our stay. We are a party of five, including two children and one baby. The house was ideal, and the sitting out area enabled people to come and see us, without us always having to go and see friends and family. It is a quiet Neighbourhood,yet close enough to shops and restaurants to be able to walk, even with a three year-old. The problem with ratings these days, is that five stars could mean it was satisfactory and nothing worth complaining about, but in this case, it really was outstanding. If one could give seven or eight stars, that would be the appropriate rating.

Could not have asked for better hosts than Marcos and Karin. I was unwell after travelling and they went above and beyond to look after us and give us everything we needed - helping us feel safe and supported. The cabin was immaculately clean and absolutely stunning. You can tell Marcos and Karin put so much love and thought into it. We loved having such a cosy and homely base to return to every evening. Squeezing fresh oranges from the trees for breakfast juice was our daily highlight! Personal jacuzzi under the stars gazing out at the dark mountains was the most amazing way to relax. A hire car is needed for freedom to explore. It’s a 30 min drive to Maspalomas beach or you can venture up the nearby mountainous roads for beauty spots and hiking areas. The local town is picturesque with amazing local food - try Restaurante El Albaricoque! Thank you so much again to our amazing friendly hosts, we can’t wait to return already.

Had an absolutely amazing time! The surrounding area is incredibly beautiful. Thanks to the remote location we could just relax in peace and recharge. Would definitely recommend the place to anyone who enjoys nature. The wood fired pizza oven and hot tub are the cherry on top. Communication with the host was also great, very responsive and proactive.

This is a beautiful apartment with amazing views. Well-equipped, very comfortable and well thought out. The weather was pretty cool one day and v windy another but having the hot tub was great when there was no sun. The sofa is VERY comfy for reading… It was lovely to have the nature reserve right next to the apartment - had a great hike there (advise proper walking/running shoes/trainers). The pizza places were excellent - and coffee at the cafe (Rittavi?). Had an amazing walnut custard tart from the Panadoria. The farmers’ market on Sunday mornings is definitely worth a visit - I also went to an excellent small supermarket in Guimar, just up the hill from the farmers’ market location (and a bit west). Fresh fruit cheese and meats, and v nice staff. Parking a small car in the garage was fine (with a bit of practice!) - it’s a great asset because the street parking is quite busy. (Bigger car park further up the hill near the recycling).

My stay in this apartment was one of the best stays I had in Cairo. Since I saw the pictures, I was curious that this apartment actually existed with these wonderful specifications. The apartment was in a beautiful and quiet area close to new places, luxury complexes and wonderful restaurants. The apartment is distinguished by its large space and beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking the golf courses. (Note that it has more than one terrace. ) Everything was in its place and really clean. Me and my two best friends can’t say enough good things about this place! From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely seamless. The check-in process was easy and contactless, and the space was exactly as described—actually, better! Spotlessly clean, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly cozy, it felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook, and the host even left a welcome bottle of two wines; which was such a thoughtful touch. The bed was super comfortable, and we slept like babies each night. One of the highlights was the peaceful outdoor area—perfect for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. Plus, the location was ideal: close to great restaurants, shops, and local attractions, but tucked away enough to enjoy some quiet and privacy. Our host was outstanding—friendly, responsive, and full of great recommendations. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests having an awesome experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Nikkis place. the home was perfect. Everything you need. A relaxed beach feel with the furniture, colour scheme and decor. stunning bathrooms and beautiful bed linen. The pool was a super extra and nice and close to the entertainment area. Braai facilities are great, the games room with the pool table, table tennis and dart board made for endless entertainment and lots of laughs throughout the stay. 30 seconds walk to the beach from house. and the bonus of having the dogs with us with the whole family. huge grass garden for playing and parking space. a Wholesome all round Wonderful Experience.

A perfect stay ! Lorena has been very accommodating helping us checking in early with our 3 little girls, getting us high chair and a stroller on top of an additional baby bed that was not planned. When the jacuzzi was not perfect on the 1st day, the pool maintenance person was directly there to clean it. The house is bigger than it looks and the outdoor with the pool and the hot tub was perfect for our stay ! The house is well equipped with tons of cooking ustensil, games, … In the end, it was just perfect. Thanks a lot for everything

The villa is exactly as the photos showed. What a lovely place especially the hot tub, pool and pool table. Extremely clean. Great guide available with lots of useful information. A short walk to the front where you can find lots of restaurants and bars, uphill going back but taxi’s are so cheap and available. Jill was a great host and communicated with me prior to booking answering any questions I had promptly. Great family stay.

We did not know what we saw when entering the villa. So big and beautiful, we were surprised. The pool was nice at the end of the day. We did not use the upstairs room (not necessary with 3 people). No smells (as in previous reports), there were also 2 air fresheners. Jesus-Maria was quick and friendly and helpful with answering questions.

We loved our time at Maggie’s place. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful! The place is exactly as described and has everything you need for a wonderful stay in the mountains. We loved how private it was and it is a short drive to Haenertsburg, Magoebaskloof and hiking trails. Beautiful interior space with great views of the mountains and waterfall. The sink hot tub is a lovely experience and in the perfect spot. We will definitely be back and are already planning our next stay. Thank you Maggie!

Cottage in the Kloof so perfectly describes this stay. Yet, if I were to rename it, it would be the house surrounded by birds. We awoke to the gentle sound of bird call and many a morning was enjoyed with a cup of tea watching the sun appear through the mountain with little Robins moving about in the plants that surround the home. Anywhere you look your eyes will fall upon the beauty of the mountain. We made use of the hot tub every day and loved our drive up to the 4 x 4 track to the new A-frame home. If you’re looking for peace and quiet then this is definitely the space for it. Thank you for having us, Jackie. We will be back for sure.
