i needed a touch-down place to stay for a conference nearby and Fatema's place was in the perfect location for me. she was also wonderfully helpful, thorough, and prompt in replying to all my questions, before & during my stay. i was already familiar with the neighborhood and felt right at home when I arrived. the building can be busy in the evenings because of the clinics, which are open late in the evenings. my visit overlapped with a major holiday and the weekend so for me this was not much of an issue. the flat was exactly as described and very cute; close to good places to eat and lots of small grocers and places to buy fruit & veg, and you simply can't beat the downtown location for proximity to anything you need to get done in Cairo. Bab al-Luq is a lively and active neighborhood so if peace and quiet is a must, perhaps go elsewhere, but I enjoyed being right in the middle of Cairo life. i definitely highly recommend and I hope to be able to visit and stay again soon!

Beautiful and spacious apartment. Location was great, very lively and lots to do. Check-in and -out were easy and our hosts were very helpful accommodating any special needs (e.g. luggage storage, late check-in). Would come back or move in even :D

incredible atmosphere like only a few other airbnbs in the world. ancient building and apartment, but in the most perfect way. 4m high ceilings. banquett room. balcony to watch the king’s palace. and located between islamic cairo and modern downtown - like a perfect base, no matter what you want to do! will definitely come back!

Hoda is a super host. Her apartment is beautiful and really clean as you can see from the pictures in the announcement. Everything was perfect, nice caffe and restaurant close by, with a little walk you will be on the Nile river. There are security cameras in the building and a door man. Hoda helped us with all our needs. I really recommend this apartment for your holiday in Cairo.

We spent 5 days in Amal’s apartment and were very happy with it. The apartment is beautiful, spacious and comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and we loved the balcony with its wonderful view. Everything was as described or as shown in the pictures. The manager picked us up from the airport which was also very convenient. The apartment is located in a nice and safe neighborhood, with shops and restaurants nearby. Tahrir Square is at about 10 minutes walking distance.

The location is conveniently close to Liberation Square.The home is newly renovated and matches the pictures, and also provides convenience items such as a hair dryer and a drying rack, as you can see the host is very attentive.The host, Hamdy, was very welcoming and would reach out to me proactively and resolve issues in a timely manner.Overall the place is good.

Mahmoud is a very welcoming host and ready to do anything to help you and give you information about the neighborhood🙂 The apartment is very quiet, 10 min walk from Tahir Square and shops. Marwa was an excellent host. Check in was very smooth and she was very responsive during the entire stay, reaching out to make sure everything was good. The apartment is also great, clean and looks as advertised. Great location in Zamalek. I will be staying here again.

Nice place and stunning balcony. The building is nice and the neighbors are quiet. The place wasn’t that clean but the host was very responsive to feedback and he will hire a different cleaning person from now. And he even brought a microwave when I asked! Great full service place. My only tip is that if you are a light sleeper, this place isn’t good for you. There’s a lot of construction outside and it shakes the whole apartment and makes a lot of noise. It’s not in the host’s control and hopefully will be done soon.

The place is unique within the hotel (only poolside setting). Most everything is new and very clean. Seems the apartment is still a bit of a 'construction project' with paint oversprays and still needs some work outside to bring it up to its full potential. A bit rough on some areas: water damaged walls, etc. But still a good value and I will stay there again next time.
