Loved the location and scenery! Very pretty. The cable car up the mountain is fun and the hiking around here is beautiful. Don’t miss the bus from Lauterbrunnen or you’ll have to walk uphill for 45 minutes!

We had a great time, quiet and relaxing. The accommodation is conveniently located for visiting Switzerland about 1 hour/1/30 from major destinations (Bern, Neuchâtel, Lausanne, Montreux). The hosts are very attentive and offer delicious products.

Evelin and Simon made as feel welcome and at home right when when we arrived. It was a very quiet and peaceful stay to come back to after a busy day exploring Switzerland. It was also very nice to see their little farm. The room was cozy and very clean. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Switzerland.

Looking for a quiet place to stay with a certain something, we ended up spending the turn of the year on the Lamahof. Not only our dog Hope was able to enjoy the few days, away from fireworks and fireworks. My husband and I were also able to switch off between wood-burning stoves, country house charm and many llamas and other farm animals. Thank you Karin and Family for the beautiful experience.

The Apartment was everything we needed. It is located above the families house in a beautiful area. There isn’t a view from the apartment however there is a nice outdoor seating area looking over the valley. The driveway is steep. We drove our car up it, but you wouldn’t want to if it was wet. Walking up was no problem. The house is located in a beautiful valley. Thanks!

9.5/10 Review for Max Chalet Gimmelwald Max Chalet was perfect for our family of three—a fantastic base for a mountain getaway! Surroundings: Gimmelwald is stunning, with hiking right outside the door. We loved the Northface Trail and the easy gondola access to Mürren, Schilthorn, and the valley. Parking at Stechelberg was only $10/day. Entertainment: Hiking was our main activity—beautiful trails and mountain huts. Pension Gimmelwald and Mountain Hostel next door offer meals, drinks, and great pizza (8.5/10). Food: Dining options nearby, more in Mürren, and a grocery store for essentials to cook at Max. The House: Spacious, cozy, clean, with big windows framing epic views. Well-equipped kitchen, laundry room, and a great patio. Quiet at night (bring a fan for white noise). Floors creak but didn’t bother us. Host: Marianne was super responsive and helpful. Summary: We’d absolutely stay again—9.5/10! (We’ve never given a 10, so this is top marks from us!)

Lovely cosy studio, very clean and quiet. Hosts communicated well and were very responsive to requests. We appreciated their attention to details such as the option for different pillows and provision of a Swiss adaptor which saved us having to buy one.

We spent five days in the last week of May in the Lischen-Hüttli. The hut is very easy to reach via two gondola lifts or a little more sporty on foot. Check-in was clearly described and very flexible so that we could explore the area on the day of arrival before check-in. There are also many dining options here, from the restaurants at the lift stations, to the well-equipped kitchen in the Hüttli, which can be operated traditionally with wood or a little more modern with gas. There are also small self-service shops for cheese and sausage from the region scattered all over the mountain, so you only have to bring bread from the village shop for a delicious snack in the cottage. From the Hüttli there are beautiful hiking trails that can be reached without a lift. In general, the Hüttli is perfect for nature lovers and for home you can stop by Monika and Peter's village shop to take something home. 5-Star Lara and Hendrik

Wonderful friendly host, extremely generous loft, wonderful beds, great rural surroundings with views up to the mountains, back in the valley and at the Habsburg etc., wonderful nature at the end of May, an oasis of relaxation, there were only two of us, but also more than enough space for four, beautiful private terrace, seating with fire bowl in front of the door, we would have stayed longer...

it was a perfect getaway in Switzerland, we would definitely come back here. away from all the busy tourists, this place was right in the middle of mountains. perfect for people who would like to be in nature, hiking, mountain biking and lot more possibilities around.

Our experience at Gabriela and Niklaus’s beautiful farm house far superseded our expectations. Both Gabriela and Niklaus went above and beyond to make our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. We had a great stay at Françoise & Serge's. The studio has a wonderful view of the lake and you are super connected by train, tram and boat. In the four days we were able to experience a lot and the tourist map of Neuchâtel makes exploring all the easier! We will definitely recommend the area and the studio.

Kate’s place is wonderful. We had everything we needed and felt so comfortable and relaxed while there. It is spotless. The beds and linens are comfortable. She even offered to pick us up and drop us off at the bus station. We did not have a car, utilized the bus to get to her place and Lucerne. Sometimes we used Uber, which was also very efficient. We’d end our day in Lucerne and grab some groceries near the train station to take back to prepare meals. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a proper meal. I felt sad to leave such a tranquil, comfortable home.

Yvonne communicated with us often. Carmen met us at the house and explained everything about the house and area to us. We absolutely loved the house on 3 levels and amazing views from all 3 levels. The spa tub, sauna, and cold plunge were the icing on the cake. There is so much to do in Vitznau/Mt Rigi Spa/Ferry around the lake, and so much more. We will stay here again, soon!

The stay offers a unique experience of staying in a small wine village with stunning views to lake Lemán. The apartment is roomy and well equipped. Nicolas is easy to communicate and proactive in sharing all the details about the stay, checkin and checkout. I highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time at Nicole's farmhouse. The location is beautiful, tucked away in the countryside. Out children loved spending time playing outside with the lamb and chickens! Nicole was out of town, but Loic took good care of us and made a lovely breakfast. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone traveling through the area!
