Apartment vacation rentals in 1st arrondissement

Laurent was a fantastic host and his place was perfect for our week stay in Lyon. The apartment itself was beautifully designed and had all of the comforts we needed including washer and separate dryer, fully equipped kitchen, lots of towels, and an home theatre system. It's in a great neighborhood located on the top floor with an elevator and is very private and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

Néjià was a wonderful host, very communicative and attentive. The space (we stayed for 6 days) was exactly as described and we were pleasantly surprised by arriving to a well stocked kitchen with all kinds of little goodies. Easy walking distance to the local farmers market, old town and other attracions if you're in half decent shape - Lyon has lots of hills! We also had a car for day trips but opted to return it early as parking and navigating through the city was a hassle. All in all an excellent property and wonderful hosts. Pauline's apartment is super beautifully decorated and fits perfectly for two people. It is quiet and yet really good in relation to the good neighborhoods in Lyon. Please note that the apartment is at the top and that there are a lot of stairs to climb - it can be difficult with a large, heavy suitcase.

Highly recommend this lovely apartment! It had everything we needed for a two week stay. The bed was really comfortable and there was plenty of hot water in the shower (with great water pressure). The apartment does not have AC, but we were pleasantly surprised with how cool it remained. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Lyon. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The flat was delightful and impeccably clean, in a really great location for the things we wanted to visit and do. We were met with the keys, given clear instructions, found everything we needed and would happily come back another time. We're sure we're fitter after the 83 steps to the fourth floor!

Lovely appartement in the heart of Lyon!

Olivier was so delightful to deal with, very responsive and detailed! The spacious apartment was modern but also had old world charm in the large exposed beam and stone work. There were a few lovely restaurants within a 5-10 min walk and the old part of Lyon just a 20 minute walk away! He was so flexible when we arrived early and allowed us to drop our luggage so we could explore Vieux Lyon until check in. It was a bit warm as the AC hadn’t yet been activated but all the fans helped overcome that! Overall we would highly recommend this lovely property. Thank you Olivier!

Thank you Fabrice! There was only one big problem- we had to leave! We spent four nights and the apartment was fantastic and so cosy and francais chic. Beautiful lighting throughout which made it extra cosy at night. The lounge room with the lighting creating so much ambience. The view of the Basilica! Wow! Great spacious kitchen. A bathtub. Fabrice’s suggestions were great- we had lunch at Albert (a stroll of 90 seconds to get there) - as the suggestion of Frabrice. Was fantastic French food. It’s bright purple on the outside - you cannot miss it and it is a must try. And we got an early check in. Thank you Frabrice! Your kindness so appreciated. With love from the Australians!. The place was perfect. The host was perfect. Heather cared for us from the day we made the reservation until well after we departed. Great location within a few minutes walk of Opera de Lyon. Twelve minute walk in all four directions and you will be in four different great areas of Lyon with four completely different "vibes" and four different concentrations of tourists. Wonderful apartment that was super clean and had outstanding amenities. Including my favorite Nespresso machine! We will be back for fun and I will also be back for business. Thank you, Heather!

This is a great apartment with a fantastic location as long as you accept the caveats. There are a lot of stairs, and the portable AC probably won't be quite enough in the hottest part of summer. The toilet and shower are on opposite ends of the apartment. But if you go in understanding that, it's comfortable, clean, well appointed, and cannot be beaten for location. Close to everything and super easy access to transit. Hosts are responsive and easy to work with.

We had a great time at Nicolas's home. It was a peaceful oasis while we explored Lyon. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was easy to walk to everything, including the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourviére and the beautiful Parc de la Tete d'Or. Nicolas was always responsive to our questions and gave clear instructions for arrival and departure. The 6 flights of stairs did give us some extra exercise, but the apartment space was worth the climb. There was a fair bit of street noise at night, but that may have been because of the stunning May weather that kept people out late at night

I had a great time in this apartment located in the heart of the Croix-Rousse district. The location is ideal, close to the subway and surrounded by lively cafes and restaurants. The apartment is modern, very well furnished and absolutely comfortable. It was a real pleasure to come back here after a day of exploring. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to discover Lyon

Despite being quite small we loved our stay at Ricardo Et Claire’s and it was perfect for our short two night stay in Lyon. It was in a great area with lots of great restaurants nearby (including Michelin star restaurants!!) and had great access to public transport. It was quite a tight squeeze to the loft bed for my partner who is 6 foot tall but we knew that when booking so no complaints from us! Ricardo was great and very clear and helpful. Thanks for having us 🤩

Lyon would not have been the same experience without this flat. The views, open floor plan and exquisite style made me lazy to leave in the morning. top notch location. close to everything you need. Highly recommend this place! Perfectly located within walking distance, any also located in a cute part of the old town. Many great restaurants and bars around. Nicolas is a wonderful host who is helpful and has many great tips about Lyon. Apartment is great and had everything I needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Great, everything was in line with the listing, even the opinions of previous tenants were taken into account, 2 sets of towels, 4 coffee pods, frankly nothing to say, it's really classy, I recommend it 100%!

We loved our stay at Clément’s! The apartment was clean, quiet, and comfortable. There were a few quirks about it, but they were communicated well and we enjoyed our time. The apartment is not as close to Vieux Lyon as we would have liked, but it is much more private and peaceful than a place near the city center would have been and the metro was nearby and very easy and efficient to use. We’d highly recommend staying at Clément’s!

Great accommodation near Lyon, accessible by transport (bus, tram...). Quiet residence and great, easy-to-use jacuzzi. We recommend! Thanks to Antoine who is a responsive and very friendly host.
