Enjoyed the ride

My tour was cancelled last min and I was offerred alternative time that did not suit me and my booking got mixed up with anther group. I was staying in the Madonna dell'orto area and it took me almost 40 mins of walking and public boat to get to the pickup point in the heat of the day. The guide stated he was tired after the end of a long day and there was barely any commentary just a boat ride mostly along the main canal For the price, I expected better value for money not just a boat drive for mostly the main cancel for which I already had a public boat pass for and had already seen. On the positive note, I was offerred a bottle of cold water which was the highlight of the tour.
